These Onion Rolls are full of so much flavor! Pare them with beef, chicken or your favorite protein. They make fantastic rolls for sandwiches as well.
Ingredients
Bread Dough
1-1/4 cups Almond Flour
2 large Eggs
3 tablespoons Cream Cheese
1-1/2 cups Mozzarella Cheese shredded
1 tsp Onion Powder
1/4 tsp Salt
1/2 tablespoon Baking Powder
Topping
1/2 tsp course Himalayan Salt
1 tablespoon Onion Flakes
Instructions
Preheat oven 400 degrees and line a baking pan with parchment paper, set aside.
In a medium microwave proof bowl soften the cream cheese and mozzarella cheese for about 30-40 seconds then stir to combine, let cool slightly. Add eggs, almond flour, onion powder, salt, and baking powder then mix until well combined.
With a ice cream scoop make 6 mounds of the dough on the prepared baking sheet about 2-3 inches apart. Using your hands, shape the mounds into round shapes and press down slightly. Sprinkle himalayan salt and dried onion flakes on top of the dough.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and allow to cool, enjoy.
